Lacrosse, considered to be America’s first and oldest sport, was invented by the Native Americans around 1600. They played the game to resolve conflicts, heal the sick, and develop strong men. The Catawba Classic Lacrosse Tournament name was chosen to pay homage to the original inhabitants of our area; the Catawba Indians.

Divisions

Girls divisions : U19 Elite, U19 RS, U15.

Boys divisions: U11 A, U11B, U13A, U13 B, U15 B (no HS – varsity or JV), U15 A (HS allowed), U19 RS, U19 Elite.

All Boys and Girls Division Pricing

• Register your team early with a $250 deposit. Deposits are required to hold a spot.
• Cost is $1,100 per team until April 12.
• Cost is $1,300 per team after April 12.
• Refunds on deposits are allowed before April 12. No refund on deposits after April 12 unless you secure a replacement team to fill your spot.
• Full payment is due by Friday May 10.

All players will be required to supply their US Lacrosse number or identify currently in-force medical insurance provider and complete a waiver form.
